Tanisha - Events Company Manager
Tanisha is a highly experienced Performing Arts educator, leader and choreographer with over 15 years’ experience teaching across primary, secondary, SEN and international settings. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance, where she gained Qualified Teacher Status, and holding a BA (Hons) in Dance & Performance, she is passionate about nurturing confident, creative and resilient young performers and creators. A Jazz specialist, Tanisha discovered her love of dance during her secondary school years, leading her to train at BOA before completing her degree and teacher training. Alongside her teaching career, she has worked internationally as a choreographer, director and creative practitioner in New York and Mexico, with choreography credits including Emma!and 9 to 5.As the proud co-founder and former director of a successful Midlands-based youth theatre company, Tanisha has collaborated with organisations including Birmingham Hippodrome and Croydon Youth Theatre to create inspiring opportunities for young performers both on and off the stage. Alongside her creative work, Tanisha has held faculty leadership positions within education for and completed the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL). She is currently studying for an MSc in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology, reflecting her ongoing passion for understanding human potential, wellbeing and personal growth.
